Documents required:

i) Application (Miscellaneous Passport Services Form)

ii) Death certificate

iii) Passport of the deceased

Fee (for issuing Death Certificate): G$ 5,400 or US$ 25.00 +US$2.00

Documents required to send mortal remains to India.

iii. Embalming Certificate

iv. Pass Check for Corpse

v. Passport of deceased. 

vi. Who will bear costs

vii. Address in India where body will be shipped.

x. Fee: Gratis

On basis of above documents, the Mission may write official note to the local government to issue 'No Objection' certificate to carry mortal remains to India.
