  1. Students should have their medical degrees apostilled from local authorities and attested by the High Commission of India before booking their tickets for departure to India to avoid unnecessary rush or inconvenience.
  1. Students should be aware that there are serious safety and security concerns in Guyana in general and Georgetown in particular. They are advised to avoid walk in secluded and insecure area to prevent mugging, etc.
  1. Students are advised to take care of their valudables including documents, etc., while travelling. It is advised to avoid flaunting of expensive jewellery, mobile phones, etc.
  2. Students should follow instructions from university authorities and guidelines issued by the High Commission of India from time to time.
