H.E. Mr. V. Mahalingam, High Commissioner of India to Guyana presenting books to Dr. Gomathinayagam Subramanian, Director of University of Guyana, Berbice Campus for the University’s Library
PRESS RELEASE
The High Commission of India in Georgetown donated 222 books of 141 titles with multiple copies on various subjects such as Philosophy, History, Information Technology, Business, Religion, Politics, Science, etc. to the University of Guyana, Tain Campus, Berbice on Saturday 8th April 2017.
High Commissioner of India, H.E. Mr. V. Mahalingam, handed over the books to Professor Dr. Gomathinayagam Subramanian, Director of University of Guyana, Berbice Campus at a short ceremony organised in the Foyer of the Library at the University. Present there were lecturers, staff members and students.
The High Commissioner urged the students to make use of the books donated by the High Commission to enrich their knowledge.
