Online classes on Gandhian Philosophy for Group 2 by Smt. Shobhana Radhakrishna.
As part of India@75 celebrations, Smt. Shobhana Radhakrishna and her team will be conducting online classes on Gandhian Philosophy for interested persons in Chile, Guyana, Argentina, Brazil, Suriname, Palestine, Trinidad & Tobago.
The dates and timing of classes (4) would be on Saturdays, 5th March, 12th March, 19th March & 26th March 2022 from 8:30 PM to 9:30 PM (IST)
This online certificate course is aimed at enhancing the understanding of the Indian diaspora and foreign nationals about the Indian spiritual and cultural heritage as well as the tremendous contribution made by Mahatma Gandhi. Broad topics to be covered in four courses:
- Gandhian Philosophy of Truth, Non-violence, Sarvodaya, Satyagraha and Swaraj
- Transformational Leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, Gandhian Economics of Trusteeship
- Mahatma Gandhi’s Spirituality, Wellness, Nature cure and Environmental credo
- Mahatma Gandhi’s Ashrams, Khadi, Charkha, Swadeshi and Minimalistic living
The online course will be of approximately 4 hours duration spread over four weeks (on Saturdays) as detailed above.
The course will be free of charge, interactive and participatory. There will be no course end examination.
After completion of the course, High Commission of India will give the participants a digitally signed Certification of Participation (signed by Dr. Shobhana Radhakrishna and the High Commissioner of India to Guyana, Antigua & Barbuda, St. Kitts and Nevis and Anguilla) and will be given to the participants through digital transmission or distributed in an event.
