Sadar Patel Photo Exhibition, one, in a week long series of events being organized by High Commission of India in Georgetown, Guyana as part of India@75, "Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav"

To commemorate and showcase the contribution of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in shaping the freedom movement of India and making of free India, a month long photo exhibition was inaugurated by the High Commission in collaboration with Swami Vivekananda Cultural Center, Georgetown commencing on 29.09.2021 which will conclude on his birth anniversary on 31.10.2021. The pictorial event was jointly inaugurated by High Commissioner Dr. K J Srinivasa and an eminent Hindu scholar, Swami Aksharanand Saraswati, Principal, Saraswati Vidya Niketan, Guyana.

The dignitaries in their remarks highlighted the commendable role played by Sardar Patel during the freedom struggle from colonial powers and in shaping Modern India after Independence.

The photo exhibition runs parallely with ‘Indian Tea & Coffee tasting event’ and light refreshments were served at the end of event for Media and other dignities.
