   The Trade Promotion Council of India and the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India is organizing Indus Food 2018, a Global Food and Beverage Show of India from January 18-19, 2018 at the India Exposition Mart, Greater Noida, India. “Indus Food” Reverse Buyer Seller Meet (RBSM) is a Global platform where top exporters from Food and Beverage industry of India are participating. Screened, hosted buyers will be invited from across the world.


   India is the top global producer of meat, milk, castor seed, sesame, mango, banana, chickpeas and many others. It is among the top global producers of rice, wheat, sugarcane, tea, spices, onion, potatoes and many others. India’s food exports is expected to reach US$ 70 billion by 2020 from US$ 31 billion in 2015.


   The country’s food processing industry is currently valued at US$ 258 billion and constitutes 14% in the GDP through manufacturing. Food processing accounts 32% of the country’s total food market. India’s food retail industry is the 6th largest grocery market in the world and is expected to reach US$ 895 billion by 2020.


   Indus Food promises to be a diverse and innovative event that will bring the Indian food and beverage industry and world’s most promising buyers together, under one roof for two powerful days of business and face to face networking opportunities. The event will facilitate partnerships between Indian and international businesses with an opportunity to showcase, connect and collaborate.


   All the “visiting buyers” at Indus Food 2018 will have access to 5 star hotel accommodation, airport and venue transfers, full  re-imbursement of registration fee, invitation to gala networking dinner and Sundowner Party, appointment schedulers to connect with suppliers, post event tours/plans visits, visa assistance and interpreters on request. Additionally, partial airfare will be reimbursed to a large number of selected buyers as recommended by the Food Buyer Committee.
