Suggestions and Ideas for a New India

The High Commission of India, Georgetown Guyana invites suggestions and ideas from the Indian diaspora, Friends of India and Indian nationals for a “New India” under the theme “New India Manthan”. The Quit India Movement began on 9^th August 1942 and within five years India became an Independent Nation. The coming five year period between 2017 and 2022 gives us a unique opportunity of “Sankalp”(pledge or resolve) to “Siddhi” (attainment) towards a “New India”. This five year period can ignite the transformation that will create “New India” free of poverty, corruption, terrorism, casteism and communalism.
