SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME FOR DIASPORA CHILDREN
Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children 2016-17
The High Commission of India invites applications for the Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC) Scheme 2016-17 for the wards of Indian Origin (PIOs)/Overseas Citizenship of India (OCIs)/ Non-resident Indian nationals (NRIs).
The Scheme provides partial financial assistance to the extent of 75% of the total institutional economic cost or to a maximum of US$4,000 per annum in the first year. Second and subsequent years for continuation of scholarship are described in the scheme's guidelines.
Applicants must be between 17-21 years and possess a minimum of 60% aggregated marks at qualifying examinations at 12th standard (CAPE, A levels, GCE).
